Learn about the effectiveness of toothbrushing and flossing sequences and which is most effective for the removal of dental plaque biofilm. This session will investigate whether it is more effective to brush first, then floss, or to floss first, then brush, and determine the most effective sequence.

 

Presenter: 

Portrait of Kimberly ObiedoKimberly Obiedo, RDH, MS, a Gallup native, recently earned her master’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of New Mexico, where she graduated in 2002 with her bachelor’s degree. Residing in Farmington, NM, Kimberly is an instructor at the San Juan College Dental Hygiene Program. She is an experienced dental hygienist dedicated to her patients, her students, and the dental health care profession.
